Mr. Ho’s Orchestrotica is a dynamic, 21-piece big band specializing in transcriptions of the music of Juan Garcia Esquivel (Mexico’s equivalent of Duke Ellington). Augmenting the group with slide guitar, singers, organ, and percussion, the ensemble recreates the big band, easy latin, crime jazz, and space-age bachelor pad sounds of the 50s and 60s. Venture out beyond the moon with the intellectual retro-pop show that we call, Sonorama.
