After a nice hang in NYC with Beach Bum Berry, Pablus, and many of the NYC tiki/ohana last weekend, I’m back in Boston running around getting things in order for our big trip north to Canada. Luckily, I have the help of our new tour manager and sound engineer, Matt Jugenheimer who also works with me in another group I perform in called CORDIS. Matt did a great job this past May in Bethlehem -- in the rain even -- and has been a great asset for our big band. Welcome to Matt!
We’re VERY excited to present Esquivel’s music--lots of it off the album cover you see at right--to the wide open public in Montreal for free! And of course, we’ll be throwing some jazz in and soloing over some of the tunes since that’s what we do, and that’s what MJF is all about. Let us know if you are coming on the Facebook Event.

On a related note, we’re looking for a rehearsal volunteer in Boston this Sunday afternoon to help us with loading, carpooling, and that type of thing. Can you help? If so, please reply to this message and we’ll fill you in.
