Hi ,
Correction: you probably won’t be able to use the form embedded in last night’s email to buy tickets to the Nov. 2 concert in Somerville, MA. Please buy your tickets from the Nov. 2 show webpage. Apologies if you tried to use the form on last night’s email and could not!

2 November shows, a PBS film, and London Trader Vic’s social!
All right, been crazy busy working on a film(!), but finally got our November quartet shows posted. We’re especially excited to be presented by the Nave Gallery (11/2) , who hosts concerts in a church near Tufts University in Somerville, MA. Advance $15 tickets on sale now.
And of course, we love playing Barbes in Brooklyn (11/3) and are happy to announce that all core members of the quartet will be at this show for the first time in NYC!
Mr. Ho is also looking forward to coming to London as well the first week (see the meet-n-greet social event below) and later, returning to the DF in Mexico to prepare for a 2013 Esquivel big band concert. Fall is also the start of our booking season, which is going well already so hopefully you’ll see us in Europe and the West Coast in 2013/14.
Finally, Mr. Ho has also been music supervising the upcoming PBS documentary, Plastic Paradise. A first edition of the film’s music was just completed, using all kinds of previously-recordied music and exotica from Baxter and Martin Denny to Ottorino Resphigi and of course, The Orchestrotica! The film’s team is still working out details, but the goal is to go back and record (and write!) some new music specifically for the film. Watch for it on PBS in Spring 2013.
London, UK - Oct 4, 2012 social @ Trader Vics!
That’s right, Mr. Ho’s comin’ to London for a few days and that means a stop at one of the original/older Trader Vic’s @ the HIlton Park Lane. RSVP by replying to this email or on our Facebook’s event page
. Come have a Navy Grog, or some other rediculous flaming libation, perhaps in an ice shell (if we’re lucky) and hang with Mr. Ho and some British mates!
